This is something the author could make an article about. That would be awesome for those willing to search for them. However, I would just recommend to use Google Business, you'll probably find those in your area. This works well especially in big cities.
100% - BUT being able to scan a 100km area, check all small business webpages and social media channels, filter out all that have outdated webpages/inactive socials etc., then create an individual draft of a freshly designed webpage or social media proposal/offer, send the PDF to them per email. = hopefully your firs customers
Conny, I don’t know if there is any AI solution for that, but it sounds like a good idea to check if something like that exists. It would make scaling those kinds of businesses easier.
I just looked on Google Maps—you would be surprised how many businesses, especially in the construction niche, don’t have websites. But it’s not just them; hairdressers, landscapers, and many others also lack websites. There are tons of businesses without an online presence.
Hm... I think this is not possible using AI agents because it requires the LLM to teach the machine when a business is "out of business" based on the characteristics you mentioned and access to the Google Business API. Depending on the region (cough, cough... Europe), it may be a heavy legal burden.
But hey this is an awesome idea, you could build it if you are a dev and promote it with writers here on Substack :).
This is a good article because it gives a good idea of how to build a business from almost scratch. I would also add that once you get a client focus on keeping them happy because that is correlated to recommendations especially if you are targeting businesses in the area.
This is your opportunity to reach more people indirectly by word-of-mouth.
As a suggestion, adding some videos or a tutorial series to become a website developer would be nice.
Is there any AI support that can help you find these businesses that are stuck in the past? (=do not have webpage, social media etc)

Thank you, Rey. I appreciate your feedback!
I completely agree—client happiness is crucial. You never know what opportunities might come from this in the future...
